We were satisfied with our meal until we received the bill. They tack on a ‘processing fee’ (not sure what percentage but it was $2.64) to ring in your food, and then another 3.5% credit card fee. Then the suggested tips were 20%, 25%, and 30%. What?! We won’t be back. The fees have gotten out of control since COVID, and I won’t go back to places that run their businesses by passing all the cost to the costumer. Sad too, we liked the food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Today we tried Point Break Cafe for the first time and we LOVED it! We had Hannah as our waitress and she was so sweet and delivered the best service. Our entire meal was amazing especially the shrimp & grits! We will definitely be back here soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch

My husband and I visited Point Break Cafe pretty regularly We enjoyed the vibe. The waitresses are always attentive and kind. The food was always delicious. We went there yesterday and were very disappointed. The food was not good. The onion rings were soggy and the southwest egg rolls were completely different than our last visit. Even the wing sauce was off. I asked the waitress if they were using a different distributor for their inventory and she stated they were under new ownership. I know there are always growing pains when someone takes over and I am hopeful the new owner will realize his mistake and go back to the old supplier. This food was sub par and the increased price tag with lower quality food is not a recipe for longevity. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
