Had the full English and it was exceptionally tasty. Hours later and I'm still thinking about how tasty it was. Definitely one of the best full Englishes I've ever had, maybe the best. Wife had the beef burger. She gave me some and it was also really tasty. Also there were two dogs which were really cute. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Very disappointed again today at The pointer pub. Went there for my Birthday today and ordered food that didn't turn up, while everyone that ordered food after us was getting there food. They forgotten about us and a young black haired girl who was quite rude said do you want a refund then or we can carry on with getting your food. I said a refund as she was quite rude and not very sorry about what had happened. This was second time this kind of service has happened to us on the trot here. I mean they say support your local pub in the village. But when this happens. It really puts you off going. It's great they got new owners. I do hope it works out for them. But I will not be going back anytime soon. We ordered a lovely Thai takeaway from Thai 1 in Colchester in the end and had it on the patio at home. Atmosphere: 3
