Exceptional Food -Outstanding service I stopped by the poké spot on 3rd and Columbia in downtown Portland, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. A young lady named Day took care of me, and she was genuinely wonderful—so kind, pleasant, and incredibly accommodating! She helped me customize my bowl which was sooooo fresh right on the spot, and you could tell she made it with genuine care. Every single bite was amazingly fresh, diverse and perfectly placed in my bowl and tasted absolutely phenomenal. Service like Day's makes all the difference. I’ll definitely be back soon!!! This place is awesome, and the ingredients always taste really fresh. My only complaint is that the portion sizes seem to vary quite a lot. The last time I went, my bowl was a little under 3/4 full, which was pretty disappointing. If they were more consistent with their servings, it would easily be a five star experience. I ordered the Build Your Own Big Fish Bowl through DoorDash tonight, and within 30 min of consuming it, I developed sudden and severe symptoms of food poisoning, including non-stop watery diarrhea and cold sweats. I was perfectly fine after lunch and throughout the day until I ate this raw fish dish. Because of the severity of my sudden illness, DoorDash support has already processed a full refund. I am sharing this honest review purely based on my immediate physical reaction tonight, and I am currently looking into the proper channels to request a food safety check for this establishment to ensure the public's health.
