I stayed in an Airbnb nearby and didn't feel like cooking, so I stumbled upon this place by chance. Since it’s not in the busy city center, I didn't expect much, but Ψωμί & Ελιά turned out to be a lucky find. The lady working there was incredibly warm and hospitable. Even though her English wasn't perfect, she was so kind to me as a solo traveler and took the time to patiently explain exactly what was on the menu. I ended up ordering the chicken souvlaki wrap with fries and extra chicken—it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. I loved it so much that I ended up eating here almost every day for an entire week, both for lunch and dinner! Since I was focused on fitness at the time, this place was perfect—it’s a high-protein, clean, and satisfying "fitness meal" that actually tasted great. （fries cooked to perfection! And chill powder is tasty as well) I still have such fond memories of her kindness and the food. If you’re looking for authentic local food made with heart, this is the place!
