We were at Jimmy's Rooftop last night and were very disappointed. The high prices didn’t match the poor service or lack of attention to detail. We ordered three classic margaritas—simple, timeless cocktails but what we got was disappointment. At $25.50 per cocktail, we expected quality, but instead, we were served cheaply made drinks that didn’t taste like they were worth more than $10. To make it worse, they came in plastic glasses! It felt more like an RSL experience than a rooftop bar. Spending $78 (including bank fees) on three cocktails should guarantee a decent drink served in proper glassware by a skilled server, but that wasn’t the case. The place was moderately busy, and while the vibe was okay, it felt superficial. Merivale seems to have focused on decor and aesthetics, neglecting the most important part—customer experience. Ordering through a QR code was inconvenient, and after a long wait, I had to go to the bar to ask for our drinks. Overall, the service was poor, and the experience was disappointing.
