The staff was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The cocktails were also excellent, loved the Penicillin I got. The decor in the building was also fun, but the downstairs bar was a bit humid, muggy, and was hard to be in. So we spent our time upstairs Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We had a pickle plate and strong drinks. Need more tequila options. Cozy little nooks to get cozy with your lover. One of my favorite spots in PDX and they throw a mean derby party in spring! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pope House Bourbon Lounge is one of the best whiskey joints my wife and I have ever been to. Their selection is vast, ranging from the daily well drink to the most elite whiskeys in the country. The food was also incredibly delicious. We had the deviled eggs, Caesar salad, and tofu burnt ends. And it was the latter that stole the show. But like all businesses in the service industry, the "difference that makes a difference" is service, and Elyse and Anya were amazing. Anya was thoughtful and attentive. Elyse was so knowledgeable about all whiskeys, but especially bourbon. We will be back (possibly tomorrow). Thank you for a great experience.
