Decent wine selection and ordering options. Good appetizers and sauces. Not all of the Italian food is traditional, much is Americanized, but pleasing to the palate. Offering pizza impairs the ambiance. If a couple is having an anniversary dinner, they don't want to deal with a bunch of unruly kids having a pizza party for their birthday at the table over. Also lowers the bill for waitstaff, which is less incentive to go the extra mile. Pop's for Italian seems to have an identity crisis as a business model and doesn't know if it wants to be high-end and formal or a "classier" Chuck E Cheese. Can solve that by dropping pizza from the menu. Too much moisture has gotten in the floorboards and the place has a damp, musty odor. The most experienced of their servers lack humility and their tips reflect that. A more humble waitstaff and targeting a slightly more refined consumer would do this place wonders. And a deep steam cleaning of the floors, or replacement with something that absorbs less moisture, which will improve the smell. Management is too casual to be taken seriously and their sommelier needs to dress the part, get a haircut, and stop conducting himself like a hippie. He is representing a business, not smoking pot in a T-shirt and jeans, sitting on the couch on his day off. More formality would do this place wonders. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Decorated nicely but a little too dim. The appetizers were on point! Bruschetta + arancini + shrimp + meatballs all strong. Pizza was good but the lobster ravioli was incredibly pungent and the meat didn’t seem cooked enough. Chicken parmesan was a hit! They forgot to make a dish for a client we brought out so the mistiming of his dinner impacted our experience but the main waitress was very kind and informative. Prices are that of fine dining but the food isn’t quite there. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
