Great atmosphere and Very welcoming. If you are looking for rude people bad food, don’t eat here hahah this is Comfortable, casual dining at its finest! The staff treats you like friends and the food is like what you find at grandma’s Sunday dinner. The tea represents the soul of the south. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE, or you will be sorry! Ordered the Charleston shrimp and grits and a Ribye. Steak was great. SHRIMP AND GRITS WERE BLAND TO BE NICE AND THE GRIITS WERE SAiD TO BE PREMIUM STONE GROUND GRITS. They are definitely NOT they tast like they were cooked days ago soggy bland..we asked for a stake instead and were told we would have yo pay for the grits because the owner dose not belive anything is wrong with the soggy dish water grits. The server stated they are told alot the the grits are not good. We asked to talk to the owner and was told she is the cook and will not come out to talk! You should not serve food you can't cook. Traveling on I95 and we loved the menu options at Porter Jacks Grill for our lunch spot! Our server was polite and sold me on the soup and chicken salad. I had the lunch special of a cup of soup (tomato basil) and the half chicken salad sandwich! Amazing and would highly recommend both. My husband had the Turkey BLT with pasta salad. Both came with a tasty pickle too! We devoured our plates as both options were phenomenal. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of products! It was a little cold throughout the building but the Christmas decor made up for that. Loved the Christmas trees!
