We don’t use Red Book (Xiaohongshu) that often, but my wife happened to see this restaurant recommended there, so we decided to drive more than 50 minutes from Nashua to give it a try. From the outside, it looks like a typical local Chinese restaurant, but the staff were very polite and welcoming, which made a great first impression. We ordered two clay pot dishes — the recommended eel hot pot and the Chinese sausage & pork clay pot rice. Both met our expectations and were enjoyable, though not overly fancy. The sausage clay pot especially felt very traditional Cantonese style, with that comforting home-style flavor. We were hoping the eel pot could have been a little more flavorful, but it was still good overall. If you enjoy authentic Cantonese-style clay pot rice and casseroles in the Boston/Allston area, this is definitely a solid choice worth trying. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Great food! We came in 30 minutes before kitchen’s close but food was served very quickly. The medium clay pot was more than enough to feed two people. The eel-chicken clay pot was alright. We might try a different combo next time. Our favorite dishes were the golden sauce shrimp and steam gai lan with oyster sauce. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
