I bought ribeyes and ground beef. It was the best I've ever had. So good had to leave a review. Catch them at the farmers market on Sundays in Montclair.

Couldn't resist the sign that said breakfast burrito for $10 after walking through the Ferry building looking for a quick eat. The cashier fella was friendly enough and seemed to have a good rapport with customers. So I picked up the spicy chorizo burrito and a $5 Italian sando. TBH, we weren't fans of the burrito. It seemed sounded tempting enough with 2 scrambled eggs, potatoes, salsa, and spicy chorizo. However, it just seemed to have too much cheese. The tortilla was fine and seemed fairly thick. The Italian sando is a bite size combination of salami, prosciuto, cheddar cheese, and leafy greens in a rosemary roll bun. It's a tiny thing literally made for a decent snack and less of a full meal.

Mornings in San Francisco can be quite chilly.  Frosty, even!  No wonder there are a ton of cafes on seemingly every block.  On my last few hours in SF, I needed a quick energy boost, with some warmth for the soul, too.  After a mint mojito at Philz Coffee, I was in search for something extra to increase the temperature in my loins. Located in the southern wing of the Ferry Marketplace, Prather Ranch Meat Co. American Eatery is a butcher shop & fast casual restaurant.  The company prides itself on meat supplied by certified humanely raised & handled animals not treated with hormones and antibiotics.  The beef is either dry-aged from the Prather Ranch, or 100% grass fed & finished from Humboldt Grass Fed Beef.  Lamb selections are from 100% grass fed lamb and quality pork & chicken products are available, as well. Not looking for a big meal before my flight back home, I wanted something cheap, light & hot.  Perusing the menu, the bone broth piqued my interest.  The benefits of bone broth are well known to the athletic & healthy living community.  Sports icons, like Kobe Bryant, and health pioneers, like Dr. Mercola, swear by the stuff.  I try to eat paleo as much as possible, so nourishing bone broth fit right in.  If it's good for them, it's good for me.  Coming either in Big Bluff organic chicken or Prather beef, I went with beef, as is my usual- Fortifying, soothing, piping hot, delicious, the bone broth was chock-full of collagen, fat & vitamins.  Put it this say, my lips would slightly stick together after each sip.  I accidentally spilled some broth on my fingers, and they were still sticky after several hand washings back at the hotel.  Made with organic herbs & Maldon sea salt, the few sprigs of rosemary (I believe that's what they were) made for a relishing cup of wonderfulness. Service was good.  Upon arrival, I was told only their breakfast selections were being served, being how it was round 8 or 9 in the morning.  I asked if the broth was available, with "in about 10 mins" as the response.  Coming back around 15 minutes later, a guy who seemed to be the owner/manager asked if I needed assistance.  I told him I was waiting for the broth.  He spoke to the lady who assisted me before, and he felt it was an oversight on their part and he gave me the beef broth on the house!  Yes!  5 bucks cash money, baby!  A few tables, including a communal one with bar stools, recommended seating is on hand overlooking the bay.   As previously mentioned, Prather Ranch Meat Co. American Eatery is located in the south wing of the Ferry Marketplace, adjacent to Sur La Table.   Cheers to quality meat!  The beef bone broth at Prather Ranch Meat Co. American Eatery hit just the spot for me to start the rest of the day in San Francisco.  I tasted the humanely raised & handled treatment of the animal in each swig of delicious liquid multivitamin.  It's too bad I didn't have much of an appetite (can you imagine that?), for I would've gone for something more substantial on the menu.  Nevertheless, I enjoyed the beef bone broth & will definitely make a return trip here if I happen to be in the area. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
