Small restaurant that's very clean and well maintained that has very limited seating exterior with no table service. They sell by the slice which is great, a touch of New York and the prices are reasonable $4 to $7 a slice happy hour deal being every day before 4pm for two slices and a soda for $10. On to the pizza I'm very happy with the crust it's not New York levels where the center is just soft enough although it's done toasty unusual for California where it's crisp just a little firm to chew. I tried a variety and I noticed the biggest downfall with the pizza; the sauce it's tangy yet not very sweet being dominated by salt. Essentially you can't tell it's tomato sauce. The sauce was quite salty and not very pleasant to the overall taste buds. The Sicilian style crust along with the New York style crust both came off as salty unfortunately. The sauce needed a little more tomato flavor zest to it and not sure if it was just my batch but that was my general thought to my experience, not top slice of LA but it's good for quick bite standards and for the price. especially the crust. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really enjoyed my experience at Prime Pizza, definitely the best pizza in Brea as of now. It is a legit NY style shop that has a lot of good offerings. I always judge a pizza shop by their execution of a plain cheese or margherita pizza. They did a great job! Crispy thin crust, oily cheese (in a good way), everything you would want in a good NY slice. My personal favorite slice there though is the grandma corners they do. I'd go with the Sicilian which has pesto, tomato sauce, and ricotta. It is a small shop with not a ton of seating, but they do have some outside spots to sit and eat. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
