I work in the area and have dined at a few of the sushi spots but Prime Sushi is a standout. I can't go anywhere else. Everyone is very pleasant and service has always been fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy and you can tell there's a lot of care in the shop :) I recommend it to everyone. Food is fresh, delicious, and great portion sizes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $30–40

My new spot for take out sushi in Etobicoke. Food is delicious. After going several times, I have found it consistently fresh and delicious. My preference is for simple basic sushi and makis, so I cannot comment on the fancy stuff. It is a small spot for take out in a little mall in the heart of Bloor West Village. Parking is a little tough, thanks to the Bloor Bike lanes taking away all the street parking on their block. But there is a lot on the North side corner that will add $2.50 to your bill. But if that is ok, the food more than makes up for it. I get the feeling it is a small family run business, so unlikely that a new sushi chef will appear and mess it up. In spring of 2026 it is the best I have tried anywhere in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
