My family has had to travel to Rochester for medical care for our daughter and we’ve loved exploring new food options in the city. Today we tried the Purple Goat because we were super curious about their noted accommodations for kids out on the patio. I understand that kids don’t necessarily belong ‘everywhere’ but, well, we love to take ours to as many places as possible. It’s a big perk to us when we feel like our very well-behaved kids feel welcome, too. The outdoor play area was wonderful. The perfect place for my husband and I to take a break for a moment, while enjoying a Loon Juice cider, all within eyesight of the girls. Food was wonderful. I would call it elevated pub/grille food that fits the space well. There are many options! My beet/goat cheese/arugula/onion burger was awesome. Decor is awesome. Service was great. Will recommend! Great place-the food was amazing and delicious. Awesome vibe, and this outdoor patio is fantastic for kids and hanging out. My only complaint would be it is a little pricey, but I would recommend and will be back again. The chicken tenders and tacos are highly recommended (come Tuesday for Tacos to get the discount) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: They had some nice salads that you could get and Mac And Cheese Dietary restrictions: They had a gluten free section/options! You could also make the tacos into a bowl!

I had the cheesy goat burger. I asked for a pink center but it was well done. The burger was very good with the gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon, fried onions, and a pretzel bun. It was not as large as an $18.00 burger should be. Our waitress was very good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
