A beautiful little place we discovered by complete surprise — and honestly one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in Tokyo. Everything felt deeply cared for. The ingredients were fresh, thoughtful, and prepared right in front of you with such quiet attention and warmth. You could genuinely feel the love and intention behind the food. The homemade pickles, the small delicate touches, the atmosphere all of it felt nourishing in the truest sense. The mackerel with rosemary was especially unforgettable. The other day, I went to "kitchen QH" with two friends. I also wanted to drink wine, so I avoided lunch and went there after 3pm. There are many types of obanzai. Apparently they use pesticide-free vegetables from their hometown of Tamba. It was delicious and had a gentle taste. The smile of the store manager, Minami-san, and the lady's greetings made me feel tipsy as I drank the wine. I will go again when I come to Tokyo in December
