You guys have been my go to store since I moved to Seattle five years ago. Just over a month ago, I was told that dogs were no longer allowed in the store because a dog attacked a store employee. The words were we’re just going to ban all dogs so that nobody’s feelings are hurt. I forgot about it one time, and I went in with my dog. He is a very friendly dog. Everybody loves him. They always have treats underneath their cupboards to give to him. He is now banned from your store. However, I’ve been in there every single day for the last week and every single time I go in there are multiple dogs in the store. My feelings are hurt because my dog did not attack anybody. He just jumped up because he wanted to say hi to another customer. It’s a behavior trait that I am working on. I’ve only had in less than a year. He was in a kennel twice before he came to me, so his training has probably not been consistent. If I go into that store one more time and see another dog, I’m going to call corporate and make sure that they understand that if you google dogs in QFC, it actually says that dogs are not allowed in QFC stores. If my dog can’t come in there because he’s friendly and wants to say hi to people and not attacking anybody then no dog belongs in that store. You guys are taking a huge hit for adding those entrance and exit barriers. I agree with them. I think that that’s a great idea. The dog issue is the only problem that I have with you guys. I will continue to go there because that’s where I get my medication and that’s where I like to shop. Please fix this because my next step is to call corporate. No more dogs in that store if my dog can’t come in there anymore. That was the agreement when I first met the cashier who told me that dogs were no longer going to be allowed because the one dog attacked one of your employees. No more dogs. Keep doing your very best to keep people from stealing, and I won’t bring my dog in ever again. If I see another dog in that building, I’m going to bring Blue back in and I’m not going to apologize and you guys can do everything you want to kick us out but I’m gonna continue shopping until he does something worth being kicked out. I have never had anything bad to say about your store, but I am really frustrated because I just had a shopper go to another QFC who just got attacked by another dog. It wasn’t your store but again Google it, it says dogs are not allowed in QFC stores at all. You guys are even having your Starbucks people kick people out for eating P.F. Chang’s or whatever that Asian place is right next to them in their location. I watched two men get kicked out with their food while another woman sat at a table nearby eating her P.F. Chang’s, and she did not have a Starbucks cup in front of her. I usually go in and I sit at the front and I wait for my bus to get close and was kicked out because I was not a customer and I told them all I was doing was waiting for my bus to get closer so that I didn’t have to sit out in the weather. Figure out how you wanna treat your people because a lot of people are posting things on multiple sites saying that your store is gonna get closed down because it’s being poorly managed and I don’t agree other than the dog and the P.F. Chang’s issue. I think you guys are doing a wonderful job and I love every single one of the people that I have gotten to know over the five years. Make up your minds and follow through. It’s a great store, but if you’re going to make rules, you need to make sure that everybody understands what those rules are and that they are followed to a T.
