I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, the setting was delightful, boasting a captivating ocean view and a charming ambiance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, although initially, we were not seated at a table with a view. However, they promptly rectified this once the table became available. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail, the Bloom, which was expertly crafted and delicious. However, the lack of vegetarian options for my pescatarian friend was disappointing. Despite this setback, the staff tried to accommodate our dietary needs by substituting pork with eggplant and chicken with mushroom in the banquet menu. Unfortunately, the dessert served did not meet expectations. Although the menu promised deep-fried ice cream with butterscotch, we received something entirely different. Despite assurances from one staff member that the fried ice cream would be brought later, we were later informed that the kitchen was closed, leaving us disappointed and feeling misled. Overall, while the experience had its ups and downs, the restaurant's decor was appealing. However, the food failed to leave a lasting impression, falling short of the high expectations set by the stunning setting and attentive staff. We had a nice evening at Queen Chow Manly. The food and service was good however, it was definitely on the higher price end. I was expecting to try some interesting and unique fusion dishes because of the branding of the restaurant. The food (except the burrata) was traditional style fare which you could get at a no frills restaurant. The burrata was an interesting dish to try but I probably wouldn’t order it again as the chilli oil really overpowered the dish and there wasn’t enough bread to dip it in. I enjoyed our evening but I would probably try another restaurant again for traditional Cantonese food or another Asian fusion style restaurant without the price tag. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We’re a family of four adults, and had a wonderful lunch together today at Queen Chow restaurant. Highly recommend the duck pancakes and mixed green vegetable platter. Top service & atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
