Nice hotel situated close to M74 very handy for a break while touring around Scotland excellent food very good service and knowledgeable staff.

This hotel seems to cater for single males as a stop off point when traveling on business. Basic rooms and food. Showers either burn or freeze you, TV kept switching itself on, presumably picking up the remote signal from other rooms. Staff could be more welcoming, lacks atmosphere. Service: 3

The Queens Hotel has been refurbished recently so my wife and I decided to try their new lunch menu. We live reasonably locally so we only wanted a meal, and cannot comment on the standard of rooms or the quality of overnight stays. The setting of the hotel is quite nice, just outside of the town of Lockerbie, it sits in it's own grounds and has ample parking. The reception area and dining area have been revamped and are brighter and more comfortable than before. We found the staff/owners very welcoming and the food was very good and reasonably priced. All-in-all we enjoyed our lunch and will return for afternoon or evening meals in the future. Service: 4 Location: 4
