Came here post skiing Nordic cross country style at High Point State Park. Grabbed a quick NY Giants Italian sandwich to go and counter staff were super nice. The young cashier lady was a sweetheart and the sandwich makers were ultra affable. Great banter among the night crew and good times here!

There I was, innocently grabbing my morning caffeine fix, when suddenly it wasn’t just about beverages—it was “Smoothie- gate 2025.” A couple asks a perfectly reasonable question. Cue the entrance of our protagonist: a height-challenged, proudly portly QuickChek employee—let’s call her The Condescender. She waltzes over, sidles into their convo, and unleashes the kind of attitude that suggests she missed her calling as a theatrical villain. Her tone? Let’s say “I’m not paid to explain basic dairy science to you.” And boy, did she deliver. Other staff paused mid-sandwich making. Customers stopped in their tracks. I half expected jazz hands and a spotlight. If you wanted to turn smoothie vs. milkshake into a prime-time production, color me impressed. But for actual customer service? Let’s just say the performance deserved zero stars. Nobody should be treated like that. She needs to work from home, in solitary- where she cant ruin anyone else's day but her own.
