W WhyDidYouRedeemlt? Warning to ALL I would leave a negative 5 star review if I could. Words cannot describe how utterly pissed off and disappointed I am in this business. I have been to this business at least 10 times in the past two months to buy nicotine. As soon as I was ready to make another purchase, the “Owner” asked me for my ID which wasn’t out of the ordinary. He takes absolutely forever to read it and then begins to ask me the most ridiculous and absurd questions ever relating to my ID. He asks me for my birthday, height, weight, and old address that is on my out of state ID. My ID I used is a few years old and my address on it doesn’t match where I currently l have lived in California for the last 2 years. He then states that he will not sell the products to me, so I ask for my ID back and he refuses. He then pockets my ID, claims it is fake, and yells at me to leave the store and wait for the police. I tried to politely ask for it back and he gets upset and gets in my face by threatening me and acting all tough. So left with no choice, I walk out of the store and dial 911 myself too since he wanted to play this game. I waited outside of the store for at least 20 minutes and the “owner” periodically walked out so he could watch me and taunt me with my ID in his hands. For whatever reason, after a few more minutes, he came back out and told me that “Here’s your FAKE ID, and do not ever come back again!” I then proceeded to snatch it out of his hands and walk off This is NOT OKAY. I’m in my mid 20’s, and this person has absolutely zero right to my TAKE MY ID and kick me out of the store. He is lucky the police never showed up while I was there, because he would have regretted it. This is unacceptable behavior and extremely illegal to even do. Thanks for wasting my time! Hope you enjoy your Tobacco license while you still have it, because you wont much longer. I’ll spend my hard-earned money elsewhere with my valid ID. Screw Quickie Food Store. . . . My dear friend, we asked for your ID because you were buying vape, and we believe this is within our rights and legally permissible. We asked you for your address as it appears on your Oregon ID, but you didn't answer because you didn't know it. When we asked how long you've lived at that address, you replied that you've lived there your whole life. Because you weren't sure about the ID information you gave us, and because you insisted you wanted to buy nicotine, we have the right and the law to refuse to sell nicotine without proof of legal age. The police arrived after you left and provided a printed copy of your ID.
