Raj Mahal – Absolutely brilliant, best Indian takeaway around! I’ve ordered from Raj Mahal a few times now, and every single time the food has been outstanding. The flavours are rich, authentic, and cooked perfectly — you can tell they use fresh ingredients and real spice blends, not just jars or pastes. I’ve tried quite a few dishes from their menu, and everything has been spot on. The Raj Mahal special dishes are packed with flavour, the meat is always tender and generous portions, and the rice and naan breads are freshly made and so tasty. The spice level is exactly as you ask for, and they really know how to balance heat with flavour. Service is always friendly, efficient, and the food arrives piping hot and well packaged — never any mess or leaks. Delivery is always within the time they say, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for high-quality, delicious Indian food that tastes homemade and authentic, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended — 10/10! We have been ordering from here since last year. The food is usually very good, but the service and wait time for delivery is getting ridiculous. Made a £30 order at 7.10pm this evening and told 8.20pm delivery time. Had to ring at 8.45pm to find out where our order was and was told it was on the way. It didn't arrive until 9.10pm. By the time I served it up it was practically cold. We are going to look for somewhere else to spend our money.

I have always tried to support local businesses but this place will never ever see me again. I ordered a meal on sat and asked for extra sauce on it but what a disappointment there was hardly enough to compliment the meal. The next issue was the plain naan that I ordered, when I saw it I thought it was a shrove Tuesday pancake it was so thin all in all a very big disappointment.
