We went for a engagement party lastnight. The severs were great. Extremely prompt and very knowledgeable. Larger party’s can often be a tricky situation, but they handled it with ease. I had the best experience ever here and I’ve eaten and many great restaurants here in Rochester and all over !! Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was amazing. It was on the expensive side but we wanted to celebrate. We got the filet board : steak, lobster, carrots, and brussels. - get the carrots as a side. I didn’t think about a picture of the food until we started to dive in The website says semi formal for dress code. I would that people dressed nice but not that fancy including the man at the host stand. It was fine because it’s fun to get all deck out but I would not say that it’s a requirement. Planning to come back Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Very disappointing experience. I was calling to place a to-go order at Rare 3001 in Rochester. After calling several times, someone finally answered — her name was Shelby. We asked about the “Chef’s Cut of the Day” listed on the online menu, and she didn’t seem to know what we were referring to. When we tried to clarify, she hung up on us. At first, I thought we were disconnected, but after calling back four more times, I realized we were being ignored. When she eventually answered again, I mentioned that we thought we got disconnected, and she just laughed. She said she was busy with other customers and put us on hold — while we could hear her being rude to people in person, telling them to “just book online if they want to eat.” She then picked the phone back up and laughed again, so we hung up. Very strange experience. When they first opened, I used to go weekly, but now I remember why I stopped going in the first place. Horrible customer service — truly disappointing for a place that used to be great.
