The service was wonderful. Our server was so kind as we asked questions and clarified with the kitchen on a couple things. Our starters came fast and our mains followed at a reasonable time. The food...omgoodness...the food was immaculate and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Cacio de Pepe and it was fantastic. Hubby ordered the Duck lasagna and he said it was heavenly. Great wine and beer selections too. We didnt order any cocktails but we watched the bartender and the drinks all looked so good! The pistachio gelato and passionfruit sorbet were also divine. 10/10 The atmosphere was romantic and very chill too. Quiet with conversations so we could chat. The remodeling worked because this place is stunning. From the artwork to the giant mirror to the masonry designs were so well thought out and looked great. We had a experience and will be back soon! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had been on a long road trip and looking for good gluten free options to stop for dinner while I was traveling through Montgomery AL. I saw the reviews on "Find Me Gluten Free" so opted to come here to Ravello. Very cool decor and setting - like it might have been a restored bank? A little noisy but it was right at the dinner rush. When I arrived, I asked if they had a separate gluten free menu or if the regular menu was marked. They said that the menu wasn't marked, but all the pasta was available gluten free except the duck lasagna and gnocchi, which is to be expected. I ordered the gluten free focaccia bread after seeing reviews and asking if that was available. The server was excited to tell me that it was. Honestly, it had decent flavor but it was dry and crumbly (as most GF baked goods are) and there was no melted butter or olive oil for dipping. There were 4 slices and I only ate 1, but boxed up the rest for a snack in the car later. I ordered the short rib Bolognese and out comes this huge bowl... with barely a scoop of gluten free penne pasta (probably Barilla?) at the bottom. Again, very flavorful meat and veggies, but disappointed in the lack of noodles overall. I was debating when they asked if I wanted dessert. I asked if they had gluten free options and the server say "Definitely!" and brought out the dessert menu, which had several things clearly marked "GF" and they explained that they also had several flavors of sorbet and ice cream that would also be GF. I opted for the "GF Almond Mango Strawberry Parfait" which the menu stated "Treat yourself to our exquisite layers of luscious cream cheese and almond cake" and that sounded refreshing after a long hot day of 90*+ weather and high humidity. It came out with this crunchy homemade-looking graham cracker type topper and I asked, "Whoa, is that gluten free?" The girl setting it down for me emphatically said "Yes!" and I dug in - as soon as the first bite was savored and swallowed, the same girl came back and said "So um, I checked and that actually is NOT gluten free... do you want another one?" There was no apology. I felt the color drain from my face as I said "Well I already ate some of it..." but agreed to have them remake one for me. She brought a new one out, with no topper this time and as I dug in, I noticed the almond cake and stopped. When my server came by, I asked if she could confirm that was actually gluten free, and she said she would "triple check". She came back and said "yes it's almond flour, so gluten free" and I took a few bites, but my body was already getting warm and shaking, as my stomach turned. It used to take me a few hours to feel effects of gluten, but I get glutened so rarely these days that the onset of effects hits faster these days. I didn't finish and spent quite some time in the restaurant restroom. :/ Unfortunately, I had 2 more hours to drive to my hotel for that night and I had to make several bathroom stops along the way. It's a few days later and I'm still not feeling well. I wish establishments that offered gluten free items took this more seriously for those of us who will suffer from mistakes like this. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Beware if you are Celiac/gluten free - have them double check everything!

My fiancé and I went to the New Year’s Eve event. I need to give a positive review for the management and staff. They were awesome. The food is where I have a problem. Our bill was over $240. I have been here more than once and between us six times in total. It was really good last year and now it seems like there is a problem. For the most part on a four course meal, you would expect excellence. Ho-hum is the only way I can describe the food now. It is really gone down compared to what it was last year. Hopefully the chef will step in and actually start doing some work. Needs major improvements.
