We are Rayme's originals dating many years back to their original place. This new place is quite loud- but not their fault. The staff is just not the same. I miss the older folk. On Sunday night, we decided to belly up to the bar, order some ribs, have a few glasses of wine while watching football. We received our drink and the menus and then almost 30 minutes went by without being checked on again and we were starving. The 'bar staff' seemed to congregate at the end of the bar and off out of sight rather than read the room and help the people at the bar. We ended up leaving because we were so hungry. We let the hostess know why so that maybe there could be a conversation and some improvement will be made, she was busy texting on her phone and I had to wait for her to look up to only say, "okay". Not, I am sorry about your experience and will for sure let them know. Please give us another try, nothing like that. Really disappointing and made me realize things will probably never be the same there again. We have been going there for so many years, we may try again as everyone has a bad day- when we do, we will report back and hope things are better. Service: 1

Looking to celebrate my daughter's birthday last night only to find that our original choice was closed due to maintenance. Looking for something else is close proximity, we located Raymes Steak &Fish House. I've never dined there before and it was packed on an early Friday evening. Since we didn't have reservations the wait would've been over an hour. However the waitress advised us that there was a small room away from the main dining area and on the other side of the bar if we were interested. Of course we were, and would've settled for most anything. Well, we didn't need to settle,as the small room offered had a round circular table was simply perfect. I believe it was a 12 X 12 room. It had a privacy curtain separating the room from the bar area and was very well suited for our small family birthday celebration. The service was great, and so was the food. There were four adults total, and combined we had a Slab of Ribs, Prime Rib, Half a Chicken, Pork Chop,with the choice of soup ( the New England Clam Chowder was amazing), salad, baked potato, tea, water, and appetizers of calamari and onion rings. The quality of the food was excellent and portions were very generous . We were very pleased with the services we recieved and thank Raymes Steak & Fish House for making our celebration a very pleasant one.
