My first experience with Red Stick Social was at Hot Art Cool Nights last night and it did not sit right with me. The food wasn’t anything to write home about but that’s actually not the main issue. The servers apparently added their own gratuity ($10 mind you) for scooping food into to-go containers. That is absolutely absurd and plain gross to be frank. I will be sure to visit a different food vendor in the future.

The Red Stick Social exceeded all of my expectations. The space and building were simply amazing. The staff (specifically Angel Beadle) made creating a very special wedding reception so smooth since I was OUT OF STATE! They took care of every detail to help the night become one of the best celebrations we have had. They listened and took action on each request for seating, food, and entertainment. I heard rave reviews from my guests which put me at ease. The food was delicious! We had food for the rehearsal dinner as well as the reception. All different items and all were enjoyed! If you are in need of a special & unique place in Baton Rouge for any type of an event, I would highly recommend Red Stick Social. We also enjoyed the brunch on Sunday that was open to the public. Once again, the food was delicious.

It was DEFINITELY overpriced $45 for the " Momosa bucket" a bottle of Brut with 2 lil cups of either pineapple, orange or cranberry juice. And the ask you can eat was like 7 things with grits, eggs, sausage bacon, pasta, fruit biscuit for $25 per person. The atmosphere was nice but not worth the price.
