Food always delicious and well portioned. Can’t beat the shashlic with a vindaloo sauce & garlic chilli Nan bread

The first time we came here was on Father's Day, the food was good, and the service was ok, but anyways... today we decided to order in as the food was good when we went there. I asked for the food containers to be identified due to intolerances and allergies, this was not done, I had to call then and the person that picked up the phone has to describe to me what food was what. All of our meet (chicken and lamb) where all tandoori (we know this by the red colour it had, tandoori red) and was just placed in the different sauces that we had ordered. We also ordered some medium spice, but none of the food had spice it was all bland. We also ordered the garlic Dal, it looked like soup, very watery and bland and no garlic, not even a taste or smell. The king Prawn butterfly was mostly just the better only a tiny bit of prawn innthe center. I have made better Indian food at home, was not worth the money we paid. Will not be ordering again from here, as what you get at the restaurant is not what you get delivered. If I could give 0 stars I would. Very disappointed! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60

I just had a delivery from regency spice .When the food arrived it was cold . The meat was tough in the starter and in the main when tested. The food has no taste what so ever to it and dissapointly, all was very bland .This was the same for every dish .I called the Regency back in a soft but honest manner and spoke to the manager , after 5 minuites of people screaming and shouting in the back ground . I spoke with the manager and explained the food was very poor quality and he went on to abruptly threaten me not to push him too far because I said the food was disgusting. It wasn't about the money I paid it was because the food was that poor I needed to let them know.The threat has been reported to police and I will be taking this complaint to trading standards .
