I recently visited with my parents and was very unhappy with my experience. As a vegetarian, I ordered a meal specifying no eggs, seafood, or meat to the staff. Unfortunately, my dish arrived with eggs included. The staff did replace my meal, but there was no apology from the management, despite the owner being present and interacting with other customers. When I addressed the issue while paying, the owner responded dismissively and advised me not to return if I wanted vegan food. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to other vegans or vegetarians seeking accommodating dining options Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Wanting to be romantic, I thought I’d take my Thai lady friend to Regent Thai for dinner to share an entree and a mains. Both of us are trying to save money and lose weight, however we were told we had to spend a minimum of $25 each! We were not notified of this before ordering and felt like we had to order a plate we didn’t really want. My friend is half my size and there was no way she could eat $25 worth of food! Who comes up with these crazy ideas? From my observations the waiting staff seemed under pressure to clear tables and were hovering around waiting to swoop up our plates like seagulls at the beach. No doubt someone higher up was cracking the whip! I also felt that we were under pressure to finish eating within a certain time which is not the most relaxing feeling. We found the beef salad to be too spicy and sour. The other dishes we had were good. Good food overall. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
