My family and I planned a holiday to Bintan on 9 June and one of the things we were unsure about was where to have our breakfast when we reached there. We did some findings prior to our holiday to Bintan, looking for the best places to eat in Bintan, Rempah Kitchen Restaurant consistently appeared among the top recommendations. We decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the restaurant is located within Four Points by Sheraton Bintan. We asked our tour assistant to bring us there and hoped we would be allowed onto the premises even though we were not staying at the resort. Fortunately, everything went smoothly. The security staff allowed us in, and the resort team warmly welcomed us and guided us to the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant staff made us feel right at home. They greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of cuisines, catering to different tastes and preferences. The food was truly excellent. We especially enjoyed the mini pandan apam balik, the Indonesian selections (particularly the lontong), the Western dishes, and the desserts. One highlight was the dessert display inside a telephone booth and it was such a unique and delightful touch! The freshly made juices were refreshing, and the iced Thai tea was absolutely superb too. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service. For the first time, I experienced restaurant staff going from table to table serving special dishes prepared by the chef. One was a soft and delicious dessert that reminded me of kaswi, while another was similar to otah-otah and equally flavourful. These thoughtful surprises made the breakfast feel even more special. We were genuinely impressed by the hospitality shown by the entire team. The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly polite throughout our visit. Their warmth and excellent service truly brightened our first day in Bintan and made our breakfast experience one to remember. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bintan! We went for a buffet breakfast and a buffet lunch during our stay, and overall the dining experience was enjoyable. The breakfast spread offered a good variety of both Asian and Western options. Most dishes were fresh and well-prepared, though a few items were more average than standout. The atmosphere was also pleasant and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy a slow, comfortable meal. On the last day of our stay, we had an a la carte lunch before heading to the ferry terminal. Upon ordering, the waitress, Via, informed us that the food would take about 45 minutes to be served. As we were concerned about making it on time, we shared this with her. She handled the situation very professionally, took note of our request, and did her best to assist. Thanks to her effort, our food was served much earlier than expected, allowing us to enjoy our meal without stress. We would like to sincerely thank Via for her helpfulness and excellent service. Was a good experience. Just dumping all the photos taken . This was from breakfast and our dinner orders. As a vegan there is quite a few options. They even customized a dish at my request too. Kudo to the staff for realizing there could have been eggs in a dish and reccomended a change too.
