Update: According to a statement made by our Alderman at a recent community meeting, Reserv has received an eviction notice from its landlord. A former bartender also publicly stated that she and several other employees had not been paid for the month of May. Given these issues, along with the ongoing noise and disruption experienced by nearby residents, I would think carefully before supporting this business. We live nearby, and Reserv has been a major disruption to the surrounding residential community since it opened. One of the biggest issues is the loud bass and music that regularly carries into neighboring homes. Buildings in this neighborhood simply are not designed to absorb nightclub-level music, and every weekend residents are forced to deal with noise that makes it difficult to relax, sleep, or enjoy their homes. Beyond the noise, large crowds, traffic congestion, parking issues, and the overall impact of frequent events have created ongoing quality-of-life concerns. Although Reserv is licensed as a restaurant, its operations often resemble those of a nightclub. The emphasis on DJs, third-party promoters, bottle service, and large parties has created impacts that are not typical of a neighborhood restaurant and has been a major source of frustration for nearby residents. For a business operating in the middle of a residential neighborhood, there has been remarkably little consideration for the people who live here.. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
