No guests on Friday night should have been a warning. The decor is nice, with African vibes. Service kinda slow. Ordered Piquant pork tenderloin pan with potato pancakes and a Pilsner Urquell. Long a while later I got the Pilsner. Cold, foam, bud not a single bubble in it. (Ok, maybe it was a first one after awhile, the next one will be better). Wasn’t great. Then came the meal - stylishly in a small cast pan, but. Full of weird fried sausage and excuse me, if that meat has ever been a pork tenderloin, then the cook should be fired for totally ruining it. Pancakes were quite good, actually. Reluctantly I asked for a second Pilsner. Same story. This time I was no quiet. I got a heartbreaking story about how none of the barrels from Pilsner brewery are the same and that they have to return some of them, because they don’t make foam and this actually has a nice foam. i.e. lots of nonsense. I did not finish it. And no I will not be coming back, nor can I recommend this “restaurant”. Price per person: Kč 300–400 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

EXTRA-Ordinary Restaurant, Location and Nikola (a world class server and person who made our experience mind-blowing wonderful). FIVE STARS My Fiancé Katka, my mother-in-law Mama Renka, her little brother Michal alongside his mega special girlfriend Klik Klik and myself visited the Zoo and Chateau Zion-Lena in Ziln, CZ yesterday which deserves my first shoutout for giving us all an unforgettable experience! Hours of walking up steeply long hills in the Zoo and we ended our time absolutely beyond famished. Out came the mobile phones to search the internet for places to eat nearby. The first and nearest restaurant to us appeared great so Michal parked his car and we entered. One of our group has health difficulties so can only really consume a salad or equivalent when she travels and salads were loud and proud listed on the restaurant menu so we asked a waitress to please take our order. No Salads. So that sucked monkey nuts and we ended up back on the road even hungrier than we had been beforehand. Restaurace Continental it was in the end and while further away than we ideally wanted/expected, gosh are we grateful to have experienced the food & service there. The menu is options rich, the plating beautiful and the tastes equally splendid.
