Svært hyggelig sted med veldig god mat. Vi hadde blant annet reinsdyr og and, som var blant det beste og møreste kjøttet vi har spist. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 1,000+

The restaurant has an elegant concept with a relaxed vibe and beautiful decor. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, they really knew the menu and wine list inside out. Top-notch service from the front-of-house team! The Menu Concept is nicely curated and compact, focusing on local ingredients. While the flavors were decent overall, a few execution details held the meal back: I ordered the Fish, good flavor, but slightly overcooked. The asparagus wasn't peeled or trimmed at the bottom, leaving the tough end inedible. My husband ordered the reindeer, the sauce tasted great, but the presentation and the color was off. The mashed potatoes had developed a dry skin on top, suggesting they were prepped earlier and reheated in the oven. for dessert I got the cheese plate, a bit of a letdown. Given Røros' stellar reputation for local dairy, serving cheeses exclusively from Trondheim felt like a missed opportunity to showcase local producers. My husband went for the white chocolate crémeux with basil sorbet, it tasted fantastic, but the sorbet had lost its bright green color and turned pale/brownish. A little temperature control in the kitchen to preserve the chlorophyll would make the dish look as good as it tastes! Great ambiance and amazing staff, but the kitchen execution needs a bit of polishing to match the potential. Extremly expensive for the small portion served, you need to order 3 courses to don't end eating again 1 hour after. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 900–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
