I have been a regular at Restaurant Garden for quite some time, and it's disheartening to witness the decline in its once-great offerings. The gradual decrease in sides and portions of the dishes, coupled with an unwarranted increase in prices, has left me feeling rather let down. During my last visit, I was hopeful of relishing their signature dishes as always. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned when I was presented with a new menu setup. The server casually asked if I would prefer mixed veggies or rice on the side, leaving me under the impression that it was a choice. To my dismay, I later discovered that it was, in fact, an additional charge that I was not informed about beforehand. Transparency and clear communication are vital aspects of any dining experience, and this lack of information left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. While I understand that restaurants may adapt their menus and pricing over time, it's essential to keep customers informed about such changes to avoid any unpleasant surprises. The quality of the food itself was not entirely compromised, but the overall value for money has certainly taken a hit. I found myself questioning whether the culinary delights were worth the inflated prices and reduced portions. Sadly, based on my recent encounters, I find it difficult to wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Garden in its current state.
