En general un buen sitio para comer. Buen trato. Estuve en 2 ocasiones, probamos el Rösti con bacon y huevo, las pizzas, la ensalada de pollo que tiene un aliño riquísimo y la sopa con huevo. Todo muy sabroso. Por sacarle alguna pega, la zona, que no es lo mejor de Basilea. Pero por lo demás todo genial. Precio razonable. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Te atienden muy amable, pero bajita la mano te la dejan caer, aguas con todo lo que te ofrecen por que hasta el vaso de agua te lo cobran y salen caro.

Achtung an alle Touristen, ihr bezahlt mehr:Attention, Tourists pay more (english Translation afterwards)Wir waren im Zuge der Baselworld Messe in der Stadt und haben im Restaurant Holzschopf gegessen, aber wir wurden nach Strich und Faden abgezogen.Die Kellnerin bringt uns eine Speisekarte aus dünner Pappe mit dem 'Baselworld's Menü'. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ein anderer Tisch eine andere Karte hat. Ich habe die Kellnerin gefragt warum wir nicht die gleiche Karte haben, daraufhin meinte die Kellnerin "Das sind Spezialitäten, und die bekommen nur Einheimische". Auch mehrmaligen probieren wollte uns die Kellnerin die andere Karte nicht geben.Wir haben dennoch dort gegessen, eine Pizza Tonno und einen Berner Rösti. Bezahlt haben wir für die Pizza 21,50CHF und für den Rösti 24,50CHF.Im Internet findet man eine Karte in der die Pizza al Tonno 18,50CHF und der besagte Rösti 20,50CHF kosten.Ich hab schon viel gesehen, aber das ist eine bodenlose Frechheit, wie kann man seine Gäste nur so behandeln?We were visiting Basel for the 'Baselwolrd' exhibition and one day we had dinner in the 'Restaurant Holzschopf'. As we sat down and ordered something to drink, the waiter brought us a menu, but I noticed that we got a different menu then some other tables. I asked the waiter, why we have a different menu and she said 'Thats a special card, for special dishes and only for locals'. I tried to convince her to give me the other menu but she insisted that I have to order from the menu she gave me. Nevertheless we ate there and we paid 21,50CHF for a Pizza al Tonno and 24,50CHF for a Berner Rösti. After I got home I visited the homepage from the restaurant and compared the prices. The menu online (the regular one) had cheaper prices than what we paid. The price online for the Pizza was 18,50CHF and for the Rösti 20,50CHF.So yeah, tourists pay more. I can't understand how a restaurant can treat it's guests like that.
