After the old mill we went to the Alte Säge for dinner. The pizza was a 3 out of 5. Comparing it to other South Tyrolean pizzerias is perhaps a bit unfair, but that has to be said. Locals didn't rate the pizza any better than I did . The floor is their weak point. Ingredients are solid. Pasta is significantly better, but the portion size doesn't come close to other places. Doesn't matter. It was a lovely evening and the service was nice and charming. Overall, 3.5 out of 5 stars is ok. There is room for improvement and I would be happy to come back if I get the chance. We looked up the restaurant on Google and according to the opening times it should have been open. We stood in front of a closed door at 4:50 p.m. on September 11th. The restaurant should update its opening hours.
