Went last night and every single course was mouth watering!!! The menu was really well explained and they were always on hand for any questions. The braised ox cheek was my highlight and just melted in the mouth. Thanks for an incredible dining experience xxx. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+

Having visited on three occasions for both dinner and Sunday lunch, I can honestly say this is the best restaurant in Bournemouth for the quality of the food and service. An intimate dining room, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service. We’re so lucky to have this restaurant so close to where we live. The food at Restaurant Roots was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, making it a genuinely enjoyable place to unwind and enjoy the evening. Having visited many restaurants offering tasting menus, I’ve found that they can sometimes follow a rather predictable pattern. Roots really stood out in this respect — the menu felt original, varied and thoughtfully put together, with dishes that genuinely surprised us. A really enjoyable experience and definitely a tasting menu that distinguishes itself from others. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+
