Excelente la comida, la atención muy buena y el show muy lindo. La chica que canta tiene una voz muy dulce. Lo super recomiendo, de lo mejor en Paraty!!

There is nothing worse than frustrated expectations... In fact, there is something worse: disdain and lack of politeness towards the customer. If these criteria were worth awards, then Refúgio Restaurante would be one of the most awarded restaurants in Paraty. It was one of the restaurants I most wanted to visit in the city, mainly because of its facade and outdoor tables that attract the attention of those passing by the pier. We took advantage of a weekend touring the city and went to discover it. As it was drizzling heavily that day, we had to stay inside the restaurant and that's when the problem started: there were three of us and we wanted a comfortable table. We asked the receptionist to accommodate us and she suggested a large table, with six seats, that way we would feel comfortable and, what's more, we wouldn't disturb anyone as the restaurant was empty. At the same time, a waiter, who seemed to have a foreign accent, said rudely and impatiently that the table was not suitable for us because it was too big, while another waitress appeared on the scene saying that we could stay there, as we were already seated. . Then, an absurdly embarrassing scene: a heated exchange began between the restaurant employees who, AT NO MOMENT, cared about doing this in front of us or the impression it could cause... MICO! I didn't even expect this from a restaurant that sells itself as refined haute cuisine! I made a point of asking one of the servers if that scene and the discomfort we were apparently causing there would affect the quality of the food and she said no. However I maintain my philosophy of not leaving an environment, no matter how unpleasant the service may be, without trying the food. Even if the food is good, I can forget the shame... But the quality of what was served was so bland that, in the end, nothing there was worth it. The rice ball with cheese and truffled honey was not at all funny, in some the cheese wasn't even melted... In any house they could serve that snack and it would cost much less than the R$53 charged... The salmon carpaccio, although "ok" and Unsurprisingly, it goes unnoticed, and for as little as R$85. But the pinnacle of gastronomic outrage was the seafood Arroz a Paulista A dish with scallops, prawns, squid and mussels had everything to shine, but it was one of the strangest things we've ever eaten. Zero flavor, zero juiciness, absurdly dry and without contrasts, and it is still described on the menu as “Paulista risotto” As a São Paulo native, I even felt offended! And the biggest offense comes in the bill: the pretentious dish costs R$185 Questioning values when you're not behind the counter, preparing the food and knowing all the pitfalls of serving a good meal to the public, may sound petty... But no customer can be made a fool of with a pretentious menu like that and, on top of that, with the service we received. I honestly hope that the chefs responsible for the restaurant or even the management (if any) review the restaurant's service policy, because nothing justifies the lack of preparation and arrogance that we witnessed and, above all, that they care about serving quality to their customers. customers A city like Paraty, known for its historical and natural beauty, is also known for its good cuisine.
