A very interesting place in Ivanić-Grad. The restaurant is nicely decorated. We came in the afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace or in the outside part of the restaurant. Although nicely decorated, the minus is no cooling system, so we were quite hot and would not recommend sitting outside if you come in the afternoon. The interior is also beautifully decorated just like the exterior, but unfortunately without windows. For starters we ordered Beef tartare and Focaccia alla caprese. Although somewhat tasty, these dishes did not justify their names. Focaccia is a thin bread, and we got a thin pizza. Beef tartare just not done well. The best of the starters was the toasted bread. Everything was nicely served, but it needs a lot of work, so I wouldn't recommend anything. The two main dishes we chose were Istrian pljukanci and Istrian šurlice. Although the dough is excellently made, there are certain differences between Pljukanac and Šurlice, which was not the case in our case. As with the starters, the dishes were fine with a small minus in terms of the amount of oil in the Pljukan with beef. Again, I have to mention that in this case too, the dishes did not live up to their names. The staff is almost excellent, the waitresses need minimal training and will be perfect. I will mention that we received chipped plates and in my opinion, the selection of plates by Šurlica is at fault. Finally, I would like to mention that the Fratellos restaurant is a place you should visit if you are in Ivanić or if you are on a quick trip outside of Zagreb. Although I have written a lot of criticisms, I am of the opinion that they have great potential and that with a little practice and minor corrections they could become a serious place on the gastronomic scene of Zagreb County. P.S. I would prefer that you focus on dishes from the north of Croatia, you make pasta very well, we know that.
