Crystal Palace Museum es una estupenda atracción turística para aquellos que vienen a comer a este café tras un largo paseo. La comida caribeña merece aquí la pena. La gente normalmente visita Retro Joe para paladear su magnífico café.

Had a lovely afternoon in retro joes today. Sampling cake and coffee surrounded by lots of lovely vintage items. A wonderfully relaxing and welcoming experience. The cake was awesome as was Alan who served it up. What a great use for a pub where I spent many a good time.

Looking for a dog friendly café in Crystal Palace? Look no further than Retro Joe's - not a moment from the station. Tired and weary from a long dog walk around the park, we were pleasantly interrupted by the offer of a little filo pastry taster that teased the tastebuds. Having a small puppy in toe always makes it harder to source a nice eatery but the owner pre-empt'd our quandary and welcomed our fury friend in with a delightful saucer of refreshment. From the outside, and the moments after entering, Retro Joes is a splendid vintage shop combined as a café/bistro. The cappuccino was excellent and was as if she knew how I liked it. We ordered the sharing platter for £15 which was a trio of tapas-come-mezze styled dishes- and was a real delight. Further more there was a little lunch-sized sausage that was awaiting our furry little friend even after he made a flood on the colourful floor. All in all, definitely a stop for anyone wanting a reasonably priced lunch set in a hipsters vintage shop with friendly, welcoming and proactive hosts mixed with tasty grub. We will definitely be back as my wife had her eye on an up-cycled wardrobe.

I stumbled across Retro Joe with some friends after visiting Crystal Palace. One of the best finds I can remember having. Not only was the food delicious (and all freshly made!) but the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and friendly. I live in the East End (ie. coffee central) and I find myself trying to make up excuses to justify the hour-and-a-half journey just so I can go and visit again. Highly recommended.
