We were visiting Springfield over Valentine’s weekend and decided to try a restaurant we don’t have back home. After attempting several places and finding 2+ hour waits everywhere, it was getting pretty late when we stopped at Rib Crib. Thankfully, we only had about a 10-minute wait. We lucked out because their earlier rush had already cleared out. We originally planned to order the Valentine’s Special, but they were sold out of ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Even so, we decided to stay and ordered the chicken fried steak instead and we’re so glad we did! It was absolutely delicious. I also had a Bloody Mary, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone there was so kind and apologetic about being sold out, which we really appreciated. Even though we didn’t get the ribs, pulled pork, or brisket this time, we still had a great experience. Next time we’re in Springfield, we’ll definitely be back for the ribs, pulled pork, brisket and of course, another Bloody Mary! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
