This is hands down my #1 restaurant in Edinburgh. The owner is incredibly generous, the portions are huge, and she even gave us complimentary drinks. If you’re Chinese, you absolutely have to try this place—it’s so worth it. I fell in love from the very first bite. The food beautifully blends Western and Chinese flavors in such a unique and delicious way. And on top of that, the owner is an amazing lady—so warm, kind, and welcoming. She feels like the kind of big sister you could happily chat with all day! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've been really disappointed with how boring and predictable vegetarian sushi usually is in Edinburgh. There are loads of interesting and varied sushi for omnivores, but it's just the same old same old for us vegetarians. I placed an order with Rice World because they were the only place which was still open when I realised I needed dinner. To my surprise, there were some slightly more unusual vegetarian options. My order took around an hour to arrive, but when it came, it was particularly attractively laid out. All of it was nice; the avocado and tofu roll was the star. Portion sizes are generous, and prices very reasonable. My one issue is that I really wish the veggie options were more clearly designated, but I'll be back. Food: 5 Order type: Delivery Price per person: £1–10 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian options: The avocado and tofu roll was particularly good.

New recently opened Japanese and Chinese take away in Gilmore Place. Very friendly welcome when I walked in and I sincerely wish them good fortune with the new business. After much thought I decided to try something new for me so dipped into the Japanese offerings for first time and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my order of 3pts of Mixed Seafood Inari and 8pcs of Tuna Maki. Opened my eyes to something new and in all honesty I will definitely return for more. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
