Restaurant Rijntje is a small and cozy place, nicely located along the Rotte. They have a terrace, and part of it sits right by the water, which immediately gives the whole experience that pleasant “life is not completely terrible after all” feeling. Service was very active, friendly and quick. Not the kind of service where you start wondering whether your waiter has moved abroad halfway through the evening, but properly attentive and present. The food was good, with some interesting combinations that actually worked. Tuna with passion fruit, for example, sounds like the sort of thing that could either be clever or a small culinary hostage situation, but here it worked well. It shows the chef is actively thinking, trying things and daring to push a little beyond the obvious. That care and passion really comes through, and it is appreciated. A lovely spot by the Rotte for good food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Price per person: €80–90

Its a neighbourhood restaurant and its a bit pricy for that matter and there is no spectacular view or suberp memorable cuisine I have tasted so its an average place but donot look for that social gathering I’m not at all amazed or suprised! Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
