Ordené las costillas rancheras. El saber estaba rico, bien servido el plato pero no sé si me tocó mala suerte pero la carne estaba un poco dura y difícil de masticar. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I'm guessing this restaurant has changed hands because this food sucks. I suspect ownership has changed sometime in 2016 based on the sudden flood of 1 star reviews. Having just ate there, I agree. The Rincon Taurino Restaurant you grew up loving has died. This is a shell of it's former self. Today, the ingredients are stale, food is light on flavor, and portions are smaller. Only a handful of employees run the restaurant and they don't seem to know what they're doing. Honestly, I've had better food come out of a Microwave. Disappointed. I think the owner should get out of the food business and find another line of work. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the world... I won't return. TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER, I'D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE OPENED ANOTHER RESTAURANT AT ANOTHER LOCATION! I MISS YOUR FOOD. *UPDATED This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant, period. My friend introduced me to the place a few years back and I have been coming ever since. I visit the place every time I come down to Chino. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. The proportions of the ingredients are spot on every time. I've never had for instance, too much cilantro or rice or too little meat or spice. Most restaurants stuff a little meat on the ends of the burrito leaving a huge rice center, but each bite has the right proportions throughout. The hot sauce is really, REALLY hot but the flavor makes it so worth it. The menu is sparse with a huge variety of meats so it will be hard to not find something you will enjoy. There are tacos, burritos, soups, quesadillas, flautas, and more. They also serve beer which interestingly is cheaper than the soft drinks. You can view the menu at rincontaurino.com/menu.h ... I always wanted to give them an excellent yelp review, so here it is. Oh, and the prices are very affordable! I only wish there was a Rincon Taurino in Santa Rosa.
