This little cocktail bar is the best we found during our trip to Japan! The owner made any cocktail you asked for, and had a wide array of different bottles available for you to choose from - he is clearly a very accomplished mixologist. The drinks he made for us were delicious! And very very well priced. We were super impressed - would definitely recommend!!! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A fantastic bar on the second floor of a building just north of Kintetsu Nara station. Both the atmosphere, close and relaxed, and the drinks were top notch. We have been whiskey and mixed drink fans for some time. The bartender was able to make several recommendations for things we hadn't tried before. They were all very good. The bartender was also kind enough to converse with me in my broken Japanese. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During my recent visit to Nara, I explored several bars — and Ripple took the first place. I will definitely be returning. The Owner Tomoki Tanaka san,previously worked at Sailing Bar and 大一電化社, a well-known coffee company in Nara. His background clearly shows in both technique and ingredient selection. Ripple is thoughtful, inventive, and deeply rooted in local ingredients. A must-visit in Nara for anyone who appreciates precision, creativity, and subtle complexity in cocktails.
