The cinnamon buns are huge. The selection of donuts is varied and tasty. Coffee and teas are very good. Drive up moves quickly. There is an outdoor area for dinibg. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10

I just had the best cup of drip coffee I’ve had in a long time. The donut was excellent too! It really hit the spot. The staff were excellent with great customer service and the prices were fair for what you get. I’ll be back soon. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a very concerning experience at Rise + Roast Donuts. My son went in to buy a few donuts and selected “no tip” on the payment tablet. After making his selection, the tablet was taken from him, and a $2 tip was added anyway. This was not a misunderstanding or a system default—the tip was added after he declined it. When we reviewed the receipt, the charge was clearly there. I called the business, and instead of addressing the issue, they initially denied it. Only after I insisted did they offer to refund the $2. This is not about the amount. Adding a charge after a customer has declined it is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about business practices. The lack of honesty and accountability in how this was handled is just as troubling as the charge itself. I would strongly encourage others to review their receipts carefully. I hope the business takes this seriously and corrects this behavior moving forward.
