Chill spot with a great view. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Smoked chops and sides were good but the catfish was insane - better than most filets I’ve had around the south. Crispy, flaky perfection Meal type: Lunch Price per person: USD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We loved Riverview Restaurant. The ride to Riverview is gorgeous and relaxing. The rolling hills, the water all set the scene. Riverview is small, very cozy and you immediately feel comfortable there. When we walked in everyone greets you, wait staff, kitchen staff it was so nice and inviting. Our waitress was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and our service was awesome. I had the catfish fiddlers,which I haven't had in years and they did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection.The salad bar and soup were delicious. Everything tasted homemade. Several premade salads and everything for a toss salad you could want. Take the family hiking to Vastwood Park (just down the road) and top it off with lunch or supper at Riverview Restaurant. A perfect family outing day.
