Let's clarify something first: someone published that Roch le Coq had copied Jack le Coq and it's false. After verification, Roch le Coq opened at this location in 2019 while Jack only opened in2021. Pay attention to your sources on the internet. It's not the nicest place in Montreal but that's part of the restaurant's personality: we do fried chicken, no fuss. For this visit, I took the Rochy at $6.75 (a good indicator of inflation out of control, price increase of +35%?!) which is a small chicken burger, “slider” type. I prefer this one to the Mega Roch. The only downside is that it's small, I had to order a second one to satisfy my appetite. Not the best in Montreal (see my review of Joyo) but an honest chicken burger, better than average with mayo, lettuce and pickles that balances out the fat of the chicken, good for 4 . Fast, friendly service, from staff who serve a lot in a week.
