Been taking a client there every Tuesday for lunch. He loves the grilled barramundi. Chips are lovely. Kiwi hotdog/Battered sausage is delicious too. Staff at counter really lovely. Definitely continue to go there. Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Shark N Chips, Gravy, Battered Fish, Barramundi

Absolutely amazing and the chips were very crunchy. One large can feed two, people complain about a wait because they’re used to premade food like maccas, this is quality food Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Absolutely amazing Dietary restrictions: Very good

Decided to have fish and chips for dinner at Rockingham Beach seeing we spent the entire day on the beach being such a beautiful hot summers day (Thursday 19th Feb 2026) From the many options we chose Rockingham Beach Fish & Chips Unfortunately, it was pretty average There was hardly any sauce on the fish burger, even though I was asked what sauce I’d like. I ended up having to buy an extra tub of tartare sauce to make the dry bread roll more tasty and make the burger more appetising. I also requested salt and vinegar on the fish and chips, but there was virtually none on it — if there was, it was extremely minimal. For a fish and chip shop that claims to be award-winning at Rockingham Beach, I’ve definitely had much better from other outlets. Overall, the experience just wasn’t great. Extremely disappointed Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40
