VERY VERY SPICY & SAND IN FOOD. I took away parata & egg rotty last night. The parotas and egg rotty were hard to bite. Plus, the pol sambol & gravy that were given were very very spicy. Today I took away a dhal curry. Sand got bitten in several bites. On the other hand their prices are very high compared to similar restaurants. Price per person: Rs 1–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

I found a stone in the food while eating and informed the staff about it. Instead of accepting the mistake, they denied it and simply gave me more rice. I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled. Customer concerns should be taken seriously and managed professionally. I quietly paid the bill and left, but the experience was not satisfactory. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Visited Rolex Hotel many times, but last day’s yellow rice with omelette was seriously amazing! Good portion, great taste, and that mutton curry — pure Jaffna-style spicy vibes! Every dish here is tasty. Definitely a must try! Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
