Room 407 is fun, different, and apparently (I am told) authentically Israeli-Italian-French-Americana cuisine. For $5, there's a buffet of salads, cheeses, bread, vegetables, etc. to start, and then--when you're ready for the shakshouka, you simply wander to the kitchen with plate in hand and glint in eye. The servers, in what I imagine are traditional costumes, cut the pieces you wish, and you then use plastic spoons to pull onto your plate. You can eat all you want as the servers periodically keep coming round and offering more. The combination of quantity and festive atmosphere more than offsets the inconsistent food quality, though some of the food is quite good. And once you find things you like, you can pile your plate high. They also provide complimentary pancakes (excellent) and lots of bread. They've renovated the restaurant to look like a dorm room and have gone so far to even place mattresses in the dining room! How neat! If you're lucky, you may even get to meet Chef Emily. She was very sweet and offered to take a picture with our youngest son, who is a big fan. Room 407; definitely worth trying at least once

Pancakes were unbelievable. Real skillful chef in the kitchen. Ambience could use some work as well as the hosting, but definitely would return to it again.
