Went to Roti Edinburgh, We ordered the food which took time as we were alot of people (our issue). The waiter was polite and had a great smile all the time. Waiter took our orders and within 30 min food was at the table. The food was absolutely delicious and was catered to our needs. There is nothing better than having your expectations met. Phenomenal Food!.Getting to why i gave 4 stars. Pricing was alittle excessive a 1kg chicken curry cost around £22 which fed 4 of us. 1kg chicken would cost around £3 -4 the rest is spices wages and Heat Light and Power. The price of curry for 500g should not exceed £8 and the price of 1kg curry should not exceed £15. A 1kg sharing curry should be more cost saving for the customer as they have more people to feed hence should feed 6 people. We used the washroom and it was cluttered and unclean. The restaurant seemed a little empty at the time we went, so i believe if the owner cheapened his prices by a £1 on small dishes and £5 on sharing dishes people would come in larger groups more often.Apart from that the place has amazing food and would definately recommend people to go there more often as the food quality is incredible.

Hi thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your meal and are always improving wherever we can, the toilets are usually looked at every hour to make sure they are clean, so they must have just be cleaned after, and in terms of pricing, we had no option to increase our prices slightly along with everything that is going on and it’s not just about the cost of chicken we use oil vegetables, and other spices and then cost of gas and electric and wages all going up the cost has gone double so we could not sustain to keep the same prices as before, if we could we would have but unfortunately it is out of our hands, hope you do come again and enjoy your visit
