The cocktails are incredibly creative and unique. The vibe is immaculate. So much potential! The trouble is that they frequently close for private events and only announce it on Instagram Stories. They act like you’re an idiot if you try to nip in on such a day because why didn’t you think to check social media before visiting anyplace? Since they are not reliably open to the public, this is not the go-to place to grab a drink that it could be. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

KH - you’ll be glad to hear that we are ceasing private events during our normal business hours going forward. You aren’t the only one that has let us know, and while people LOVE to use our space as a backdrop to their celebrations, it’s not worth closing for our regulars. I was so disappointed, I was enjoying heard on Hurd and passed by. It is a beautiful lounge and it drew me in. I wanted to check it out, have some wine and enjoy the atmosphere. The bartender was extremely rude the moment she approached me. I refused to give this place any money or time and walked out. I have never been treated so terrible by a bartender or server in my life for simply being there. If I could give less than one star I would. Don’t waist your time unless you like being treated like shit.

I would ask you come back and give us another shot on a night less busy they Heard on Hurd. That’s not our typical pace or vibe - but I know the team still manages to provide stellar service. Cool Vibes, Great Music & Craft Drinks Stopped by Round Midnight recently and had a fantastic time — this place oozes atmosphere! From the moment we walked in, the live jazz set the tone right. The 2‑piece band was super talented and added a classy, intimate energy that made our night feel special. The vibe here is absolutely worth checking out — stylish yet relaxed, perfect for drinks with good company and great tunes. The cocktails are fancy and thoughtfully crafted, which I loved — they’re fun to sip and beautifully presented. Our bartender was working incredibly hard and gave great service, even though it seemed like she was spread thin at times. While it wasn’t overly busy, a little extra support behind the bar (especially with drink prep) could help keep wait times shorter and the experience even smoother. The bar back was friendly and helpful within the scope of what they were doing, but a bit more training or support there might level things up — especially for the kind of creative drinks Round Midnight is serving. That said — don’t let that deter you. This is a cool, memorable spot with unique drinks and genuinely enjoyable live music.
